The New Direction of Dapper D

Posted by

When we successfully launched Dapper D on Kickstarter 2 years ago, we had a vision of making a Men's style clothing line for Women, but it has turned into so much more. We have dressed countless Tomboys all across the world who have made our dreams come true. It has been an incredible ride! We have empowered allies and LGBTQ alike to be their most authentic selves, and for that we are incredibly thankful.

Starting our own clothing line has had it's challenges, but the more we created and curated new items of clothing, we realized that the only way to control the quality was to to physically do more of it ourselves. Over the past few months, Vanna has been diligently teaching herself how to screen print and design everything on her own (thank goodness for YouTube!)

It is with this newfound independence that we have decided to shift the focus of Dapper D (for now) to become a line of Tomboy Tees that make a positive difference in the world! Vanna is going to screen print each tee shirt by hand, and we are only picking the softest, highest quality shirts out there. Not only will you be able to pick the Dapper D design you want, you get to pick the color of your tee shirt! You will also have the option of getting your design on a black tank, or our raglan tee. We have also decided that we will be selecting a charity each month to give a portion of our sales to. We have had the opportunity to donate a portion of our sales at different Pop Up Shop events across the West Coast in the past, and we want to make a difference on a global scale.

We will announce the name of the charity each month, and we will be coming out with new designs often. As many of you know who follow us on social media, we are not only about selling clothes, we are about making the world a better place, and inspiring our Dapper D's! Will you come along for the ride with us? Today it's about sporting a Dapper D Tomboy Tee, tomorrow it's about changing the world!

As always,

Be Brave. Be Authentic. Be You.
